Convebelt - the steelbelt from Contibelt

steel belt materials

Various materials, tolerances and surface finishes are available for different applications of solid steel belts. The following list allows an overview over the different materials available for Convebelt belts. Detailed material data is available for the four most common steel grades. Nevertheless, the steel qualities for specific applications shall be discussed in detail - depending on your requirements.

Please click on the desired steel quality to have the respective material data sheet displayed in a separate window (please disengage any eventually installed popup-blocker software to be able to use this feature).

standard materials available for Contibelt solid steel belts:

CB 301 SGA

Cold rolled austenitic stainless steel, which has been designed specifically for steel belt applications. High strength characteristics, good corrosion resistance and good weldability, used as standard material for various applications.

CB 316 SGA

in accordance with ASTM AISI 316 (DIN Wst. Nr. 1.4401)
corrosion-resistant stainless steel

CB 105 SGF

special steel for transportation processes

CB 650 SCK

DIN Wst. Nr. 1.1231,
carbon steel

CB 31 SGM

Cold rolled stainless steel with martensitic structure. This steel was especially designed for steel belt applications with very good spring properties, high ductility, high strengths and very good weldability.

CB 630 SGM

similar to AISI 630, similar to DIN Wst. Nr. 1.4542,
Precipitation-hardened stainless steel with martensitic structure. This steel was especially designed for steel belt applications and is characterized by high tensile and yield strength, high ductility, high fatigue strength, good corrosion resistance and good weldability.

CB 304 SGAV
in accordance with ASTM AISI 304 , DIN Wst. Nr. 1.4301
stainless steel of exceptional purity

CB 316 SGAV

in accordance with ASTM AISI 316 , DIN Wst. Nr. 1.4401
stainless steel of exceptional purity with corrosion resistant properties.
