introduced a number of innovations to the steel belt market which
significantly increased the reliability and lifespan of solid steel
belts. Contibelt has, for instance, developed a revolutionary
attachment method for
nitrile v-ropes (learn more about this in the "technology"-section
of our web-service), which allows the use
of true-tracking steel belts under much more
challenging conditions than previously possible. Furthermore, we
were the first supplier to introduce a
micro-structured carbon-steel grade which can
easily be welded - an innovation which helped to reduce maintainance
costs and at the same time helped to significantly increase the
belts lifespan for special applications.
